characters and such

Dunno why but I've been wanting to get a little artsy with my characters lately and one of the ideas I got was just this limited color pallet look. I made Lara and Rings colors a bit lighter then usual.

Looking at these, and I think playing Kingdom Hearts, sort of makes me want to do some like character studies with them. Like they all look pretty good in a 3/4 view but a front views and profiles look off. Also I tend to draw every one with big hands, like Emily there, and I think i should try and work on giving female characters smaller hands
