Description

I have thought of putting my characters in fantasy settings before but just didn't have the time or motivation. So the other day I had an idea for Miss V pop into my head and i just had to draw it. Her outfit is kind of a mix of Lina Inverse and Anna from "Van Helsing." I have thought that Miss.V might have played D&D when she was younger so this could be her D&D avatar.

I wish the design on her cloak/cape was better but it was a last minute thing to try out the "mesh transform" in Clip Studio

I will say this on all my critiques, but I am bias. I will always want the best and I have been met with nothing less.

Overall everything is beautiful. It's a fine piece that doesn't have anything that's wrong with it, a strong representation of who the character is and what they will be able to bring in the story, whatever story that might be.

From the draping of the cloth to the weighted belt, a sack of something that's important enough that she needs to secured to her thigh. I think that's the best part, there's a lot of small attributes that are brought to the drawing and the figure. For instance the shadow's a gradient, it's lighter as it moves to the right it becomes darker, bringing an implication to the persona of this drawing.

Like I mentioned, no stated as a fact, I'm bias on this work, but one major thing of note I'd like to bring up before closing is the attention to detail. Not just about the wonderful design on the cape, but also the attention to the bead or jewel on her hand, cloak, and shoulder armor. We don't know who she is or what she does, but we know that she's someone with something important in a sack on her hip and these gems are to be seen and known why they're visible.

In short, these are colors that I favor, so the choices made for the palette were spectacular and the choices made with the costume (large flowing blouse was a good move, since it looks better on film and design) are professional and well thought out. Can't wait to see more and see where this character may grow.
