*Avatar geekyness is now showing* actuly they said that Combustion Man was based on a guy they knew, but the head writer said that he wanted the character to have a shaved head. So they took Combustion Man's hair a put it on RanJan, that guy that was hitting on Mai at the party in the beach episode.
